a beautiful day for the champions of AFF Suzuki Cup as fame comes to a Hero

we are the champions! no time for losers!

What a beautiful day! All my countryman seems to be in good mood smiling. And that’s what we call ending 2010 with a BANG!

We are the champions, my friends
And we’ll keep on fighting – till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
Cause we are the champions – of the world (Asian actually, sorry for the exaggeration)

As a Malaysian, I think everyone were united and truly proud last night as we supported or national team that eventually won the AFF Suzuki Cup for the first time in history with a 4-2 on aggregates over Indonesia. (used to be called tigerCup, which I went to the Jan 2005 when malaysia lost to Indo 4-1) Although we lost 2-1 and was playing a bit bad in the last 15minutes but the players keep their heads cool and defended well till the last drop. Kudos  to all the Malaysia team as they played as a team although much should be done on their clearance method. Kudo’s also must be given to the Indonesian security personals as they did their job well (did i miss any major incidents?). In the end peace was made and every malaysia player can be considered a HERO. I believe our HEROS have safely arrived at KLIA a few moments ago (sorry I don’t have any pictures).

The Champions at last! - picture taken from anythingbeautiful's blog

According to uncle google (I’m actually making my own assumptions :p) Top searches of today locally were AFF suzuki pictures, AFF suzuki 2010, Malaysian Goalkeeper, Fahmi, Fahmi’s FB, Fahmi’s girlfriend and a few more entertaining searches. Eventually a cute friend of mine miss Lolly twittered Malaysian goalkeeper’s gf blog link :p I must admit, i did take a peep on that blog! (I’ll share the link at the end of this, so read through) Haha. Even the famous HOT blogger, miss hanis zalika admires the goallie -> here some proof of hanis  admiring fahmi.

It’s understood with all the buzz. Even the radios, papers were all in a good mood. It’s said that in Bkt Jalil 20k seats were allocated to the indonesian fans, whereas in Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta last night, only 1 thousand seats were allocated to Malaysian fans. The 19k were allocated to the “laser bomohs” -source FlyFM radio :p LOL…but in the end as shebby sigh predicted malaysia lost 2-1 but won 4-2 on aggregates. I did also predict the 2-1 lose ask my rapunzel if you guys don’t believe me :p

PM declairs 31 december 2010 as a public holiday -> read here . 31 december 2010 is officially a public holiday, but only for this year unless we win the world cup someday , that of course would be a public holiday every year! LOL. So when I opened up my email today, I received a pleasant surprise . Here’s an email from a local MNC HR ->

Friday, 31 December 2010 has been declared a public holiday to celebrate Malaysia’s first ever victory in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup championship. XXX Malaysia will recognize the Public Holiday as announced by the Prime Minister.

Outstandingly drafted write-up, only when all blog writers supplied the same articles as you, the net might be a more desirable area.
