Being Thankful

They are many times in our daily lives that we take things for granted.  Sometimes we just don’t notice on how lucky we are! Amazingly some facts are too stunning to believe . Just you reading this article makes you ahead that  nearly 1/2 the population of our current human kind( from the 6.8 billion current human population)

It’s always about what we don’t have not what we have. It’s always about what we want not what we really need. Sometimes its a good thing to remind of ourselves on how lucky we are.

Have you ever prayed and be thankful , for the great meal you have in front of you? Have you ever thought about millions around the world are starving everyday? That’s what Ramadan or fasting teaches a Muslim. It teaches a Muslim to think about the less fortunate/the poor. Imagine having to forcefully fast or starve just not because we don’t have enough money to buy food? We are still lucky to fast and have good food during breaking of our fast. We have buffets, steamboats, lavish dinners, Ramadan markets and a lot more then we can eat.  To Muslims, have you ever break your fast at mosques with unfortunate people around you? You could easily differentiate them and see on how happy they are to get free food.

That’s why  we always have to remember that out there, they are people who are less fortunate then us. Life is indeed difficult but we always need to be more thankful on what we have and focus more on what we need, instead on what we want. It’s now wrong to want something, but it’s better to start to think about others too.

Remember,  in the end, life is about “US” not “ME”.

p/s no more buffets for pilotHans for this month. Once is enough ^_^ personally thanks to the person who treated us during the Bebenang LYN’s at Flaming Steamboat, Sunway yesterday.
