whats earth hour ? That come into mind when I first heard of it. When I discovered the true meaning and story behind it, I wasted no time to signing up! that’s the least I can do.
As a nature lover, it hurts to see the global warming effecting continents and nations around the globe. I do not want my country to be hotter than it is today(averate 32celcious). Imagine in 20 years, its expected to be 37celcious in my country. I havent taken into account, other countries that are facing drastic and increasing global warming such as India and Australia. Imagine the artic and antartic melting or getting smaller, I bet there will be no more polar bears(just an example of one of many creatures effected), flooding in countries like netherlands(which are already below water level), adding countries that are below sea level.
dear humans beings of eath, lets hold hands, and support the biggest election in history, between earth and global warming……..it’s time to vote for earth by switching off the lights for 1 hour, at 8.30pm this 28 March 2009…..Hundreds of countries around the globe will participate….Show your love to mothernature by participating…Yup, I’m one of the millions participating in this election…..Just doing my part for humanity……
lets be part of history and take part in saving our earth. This is just a start, for more efforts will need to be executed in order to achive the real objectives, to slow down or even stall (god forbid, if this is even possible) global warming.
vote for earth, for our future generations……
