What? : Floria ’10, Putrajaya @ Flower Festival
Review : Let’s see. What do expect in a flower festival. Compared to last year, I say a slight improvement. The amount of nurseries involved i think increased. The rearrangement and landscaped was nice, especially the “Johor”, “Labuan” and the “DBKL” section. “Landscape Putrajaya” also had some other key featured unique compared to others. One section had the beautiful bamboo outdoor furniture that make me dream of my future house! haha. Yeah, once in a while day dreaming is good. ^_^
Negative :
- Sanitary and walking pavement was still not to par, maybe it’s because of the recent shower in the morning.
- Last year remember they had these hot air ballons that were a huge side attractions besides the flower mini nurseries. Click Here to see my hot air balloon experience
- Rubbish thrown everywhere, i say lack of garbage bins or lack of civic minded people.
They were themed and categorized according to states, city councils, some local universities. Below were from the “Perbandaran Putrajaya” if I’m not mistaken. I was like a hill. Will sunflowers making a half circle + facing the lake. But below is just a part of the stairs. Was among my favorite spot.
Overall I’d say I enjoyed the outing. The only thing that I regret was the heat and the fact of being sun burned!
