I meet michael schumacher and took a photo with him

Venue : Sepang paddock, behind ferrari garage, after qualifying 2009
time: around 8pm ++

I followed F1/ferrari/michael since 1999. Ever since, I’ve been dreaming to meet Michael in person. To have witness 1 of his 91 wins in Sepang 2004 is an honor that I treasure for the rest of my life.

Believe it of not, I finally meet Michael Schumacher in person during qualifying day in Sepang 2009! This day will definitely go into one of my history chapters .

I was at the paddock(how I got in is another story), behind the Ferrari garage. From far I saw someone with some cream kakis pants and to my surprise it was Michael! He seems to be talking to some Force India guy(he didn’t were any force India merchandise but i recognize him somewhere). I stopped some Sepang race marshal and ask him to take a picture of me with Michael. I had to wait a bit, since Michael was busy on the phone besides the possible force India guy.

So when Michael finished talking, he walk towards me and without any hesitation, I said, excuse me Michael, can I take a picture with you….he said sure.…then we pose…hehe…then I tried to one more, but he said, one is good….he left, but I continued pursuing him. I said, can I have your autograph as well, sorry to disturb you..….and he stop and signed my MS Final edition cap…..then I said to him, I‘m a really big fan of yours, Michael.…and then he said….I know, I can see that…..then that was it…

All the while I had so much to say, but within those critical moments I was like glued or stunned to meet him….Yup, I was star struck(like some of my ScuderiaNet friends said to me) At least, now I feel relieved that I finally got a picture with him (although its not as clear as I expected, at least Michael looks good in the picture)…hope to meet you Michael again in the future. It’s an honor to finally meet you…..(I tried to find him at his hotel but couldn’t find him, some friends of mine saw him and he didn’t even stopped for pictures or autograph, but he was kindly enough to say sorry guys…..)
