Prancing horse dominates German GP
FORMULA 1 GROSSER PREIS SANTANDER VON DEUTSCHLAND 2010
F1 News -Alonso lead Ferrari to a 1-2 win in the Germany F1 GP race in Hockenheim . It’s about time. Superb start by the Ferrari drivers. Good job boys ^_^ Or should I say Felipe handed him the win. Read my report below.
Race report in my own words – Okay, as per qualifying yesterday Vettel started in P1 followed by Alonso in P2, and Felipe in P3. Alonso was dominating qualifying time in Q1 and @Q2.
After the 5 red lights turned ON, in the 1st lap Alonso distracted Vettel. Vettel tried to defend himself by swingging to his right. But the prancing horse was faster. As a result the 2nd Prancing horse of Felipe manage to get into P1 just before the 1st corner. They positions, remaintained P1 for Felipe, P2 for Alonso, and P3 for Vettel. The race went on with few incidents.
Alonso was battling for P1 with Felipe at one stage before backing up for a moment. Then he managed to narrow the gap to a few second’s just before felipe’s got stuck in traffic. It was on lap 48, the Ferrari team tells Massa via the radio, that Alonso is quicker than him. Later in the lap, out of the hairpin, F.Massa lets Alonso past him into the lead. Clearly team orders
They finished in that same order. Is was kindda sad to see Felipe needing to give Alonso P1. I guess it’s because Alonso is higher in the drivers standings and is still possible to challenge both Redbull and McLaren drivers. The good news is that Ferrari are back as contenders and boy am I happy after watching so many sad races struggling just to keep with the other pack. Felipe Massa is back! I agree with you Rob. I totally do.
Famous ferrari quotes of the day ->
